Archaeological tour to Georgia starts with the visit to the open-air Ethnographic Museum, located near Turtle Lake. The museum represents traditions of different regions of Georgia, illustrating traditional houses and farm buildings. During the excursion around the Old Town, we visit Sioni Cathedral (the V-VII centuries) and the oldest church in Tbilisi (VI century) - Anchiskhati church. After discovering the most historic part of the city sulphur baths, we reach Narikala Fortress by the cable car. TRIP REVIEWS (3)

Samuel, Julie and Emma

My wife and I are just back home after travelling for so long. We haven’t had a chance to write anything as we're traveling to South Korea after this trip. Now we are back to London and can finally share our thoughts and memories from Georgia.
Hotels:
Our hotels were perfectly chosen by Tatev and had all the facilities. The locations were quite good and gave us a lot of freedom to explore the cities on our own after the daily tours.
Guides:
Having the right guide affects the whole trip, after travelling to so many countries we are now sure of this. Especially for an archaeological trip, this is the most important thing. We had the best guide one can ever think of. Katie was with us from the beginning of the trip until the end. She was so professional and knowledgeable, we had so many questions every single day and she answered all of them with such enthusiasm and professionalism.
We wank to thank Mygeo trip for such an amazing trip and memories!

My niece, Natalie, my husband Georgia and I had a wonderful archaeological tour of Georgia last month. Tatev arranged a private tour for the three of us. We had the best guide and driver we could ever ask!
Hotel in Tbilisi was good, breakfast was a bit poor, but we normally don’t eat in the mornings, so we were ok with that.
This trip was really once in a lifetime experience. We visited many medieval monasteries, saw sites from the Neolithic period. Georgian national museum blew our minds with its exhibition of archaeological treasures.

We loved Georgia and will certainly come back again for more explorations!!

Want to thank MyGeo team for making these 10 days unforgettable. It was full of joy, huge experience in Georgian history and adventure. My wife is a history teacher at the State University and always wanted to visit Georgia. I like the way how your company’s management is set, as soon as we requested for a tour I got a call from the tour manager and she was always happy to answer my questions. She was even writing us during the tour which made us safer.
Our guide Alex and driver were very polite and kind people. He was always ready to help us in any situation. I really like Borjomi and Kakheti cities will defiantly recommend your services to my friends.
Cheers,
Kevin
