Day 1

 Day 2

  • Departure to the capital of Georgia-Tbilisi
  • On the way you will visit the cave town of Uplistsikhe – this ancient cave town, carved in the rock, is one of the first towns in Georgia. It dates back to the end of II the beginning of I millennium BC.

 Day 3

  • City tour around Tbilisi  bright and hospitable capital of Georgia
  • Visit to the Holy Trinity Cathedral of Tbilisi. The foundation of the church was laid in 1995, and now it is the main cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church.
  • Trip to the historical district of Metekhi where you will visit the Assumption Church located on the picturesque hill.
  • Excursion to one of the most famous city’s landmarks – the Bridge of Peace designed by the Italian architect. It is a pedestrian bridge across the River Kura. It consists of a 156-meter high steel frame covered with glass.
  • Trip to the Narikala Fortress by a cable car. The fortress is located on a hill overlooking Tbilisi and Kura River – an excellent place for memorable photos!
  • Stroll around the most famous streets of Tbilisi – Chardin. It was named after the French traveler Jean Chardin, and is a semblance of Montmartre. There are lots of cozy cafes and interesting picture galleries on the street.
  • Visit to the mosque located on the Botanical Street
  • The excursion will continue to the waterfall – the amazing attraction of the Botanical Garden
  • The last tour destination – the sulfuric baths – royal baths complex of XVII-XIX centuries, one of the most famous sights of the Old Town.

 Day 4

  • Departure to Kutaisi
  • On the way visit first capital of Georgia Mtskheta – a beautifully renovated town belonging to the 2nd half of the I millennium BC
  • Climb to the Jvari Monastery located on a hill. This area offers a breathtaking view of the confluence of the Aragvi and Kura rivers.
  • Visit to the Svetitskhoveli Temple – the cathedral of the XI-th century, the main cathedral of Georgia.
  • Excursion to Gelati Monastery – another important UNESCO object

 Day 5

  • Tour to Bagrati Cathedral which is the magnificent sight of Kutaisi located on the Ukimerioni Hill. This majestic in size and proportions temple is the masterpiece of Georgian medieval architecture and is now under UNESCO protection.
  • Excursion continues to Motsameta Monastery located on a hill where, according to the legend, the Muslim invaders executed Georgian princes David and Konstantin Mkheidze who refused to be converted to Islam.
  • Visit Prometheus caves – one of the richest caves of Europe. They are characterized by the variety of underground rivers and breathtaking landscapes.

  • Sightseeing tour around Kutaisi
  • Visit to the historical district of Kutaisi. The historical part of Kutaisi, the Royal District, includes the territory around the White Bridge, and streets of Cisfercancelta, Nino Tsereteli and Alexander Pushkin.
  • Visit to the historical museum of Kutaisi named after Nico Berdzenishvili
  • Visit to the local market
  • Transfer to the airport, departure
