Paragliding Tour to Georgia
Arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel in Tbilisi
The day will start with a trip to Mtskheta – the first capital of ancient Georgian state Iberia. Here you will visit the patriarchal cathedral of the Georgian Orthodox Church, Svetitskhoveli, which is the object of UNESCO World Heritage. Next you will climb the high hill to visit Jvary Monastery. From the top opens an amazing view to the town and the confluence of Mtkvari and Aragvi rivers. On this day you will also visit Samtavro Monastery and Ananuri fortress, located on the shore of the Zhinvali Reservoir. The day will end with a trip to the famous resort town of Gudauri, located in Kazbegi region on the southern slopes of the Caucasus Mountains. It is famous for its amazing mountainous landscapes and favorable climate.
This day you will have your tandem paragliding flight. First, you will get the meet point located at an altitude of 2200 m above sea level. The duration of the flight will be 10-60 min. After some instructions, you will take off with your instructor and enjoy extreme emotions and the sensation of freedom, which cannot be experienced on the ground and is difficult to be conveyed in words. You will be accompanied by the experienced. The pilots are certified and have 10-15 years’ experience. Each passenger will be issued with a helmet and flying suit. All pilots carry complete reserve and communication systems and weather conditions are carefully assessed before they take you up and again on takeoff. The price also includes photo-video filming. After the flight, you will visit a monument dedicated to the Russian-Georgian friendship. The day will end with a trip to Kazbegi town where you’ll climb the high hill to the temple of Gergeti. From the top opens an amazing view to the surroundings.
On the fourth day, you will have a trip from Gudauri to Tbilisi – the hospitable capital of Georgia. Here you will have a city tour to the most famous sights of the capital. The excursion will start with the visit to Assumption Church located on a hill. Next, you will take a cable car and have a pleasant trip to the Narikala Fortress – the true symbol of Tbilisi. The fortress is located on a hill overlooking Tbilisi and Kura River – an excellent place for memorable photos! After an excursion to Juma Mosque the tour will continue to beautiful waterfall – the highlight of Botanical Garden. The tour will end with the visit to Ethnographic Museum, located on open air territory on Turtle Lake. On its territory, traditional houses and farm buildings are exhibited, which are collected from all regions of Georgia.
