New Year Tour to Georgia


Day 1
  • Arrival at the airport, transfer to the hotel

Day 2
  • City tour around Tbilisi, during which you will enjoy the festive atmosphere of New Year Tbilisi
  • Tour to the historic district of Metekhi  - a historic district of Tbilisi on a high rock overhanging the bank of the Kura River. Here you will visit the Assumption Church and see the monument to Georgian king Vakhtang I Gorgasali, the founder of Tbilisi
  • Visit to one of the most famous city's landmarks - the Bridge of Peace designed by a well-known Italian architect
  • The cable car will take you to the ancient Narikala fortress – the symbol of Tbilisi located on a hill. That's an excellent location for memorable photos.
  • Excursion to the sulfuric baths famous for their unique architecture and interesting old history.
  • Free time. Enjoy yourself in New Year atmosphere in the city.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 3

Day 4
  • Departure to the oldest wine region of Georgia, Kakheti
  • Visit to Alaverdi Monastic complex the monks of which prepare their own wine and preserve it in the ancient unique cellar of the XI-th century
  • The tour continues to the cozy renovated town Sighnagi called by the locals «the town of love»
  • Next you will visit the wine cellar in Tsinandali estate, where you will have wine tasting of 4 varieties of local Kakhetian wines
  • Excursion to the convent of Bodbe, where is buried St. Nino – the founder of Christianity in Georgia
  • Return to Tbilisi
  • Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 5
  • Trip to Vardzia - a huge cave complex built about eight centuries ago during the reign of the King Georgy III and his daughter Queen Tamar.
  • Stop at Khertvisi fortress for making memorable photos
  • A visit to the stone fortress Rabat - an old fortress, which is the main attraction of Akhaltsikhe.
  • Overnight in Borjomi

Day 6
  • Morning trip to Borjomi resort town known as one of the best health resorts of Georgia. Here you will have an opportunity to visit the Historical Park and taste famous healing mineral water.
  • On the way, you will visit the town of Gori - the heart of eastern Georgia and Stalin's homeland
  • Tour to Mtskheta – one of the oldest towns in Georgia located at the confluence of Aragvi and Mtkvari rivers. Mtskheta is the important religious center of the country
  • Climb up the hill to Jvari Monastery which overlook the entire town, Jvari is an amazing example of Georgian church architecture and is under UNESCO protection.
  • Overnight in Tbilisi

Day 7
  • Transfer to the airport, departure
