Day 1 - Arrival

Day 2 - Art Tour to Tbilisi

Tbilisi Sights
Our Art Tour begins with the city tour around Tbilisi – the charming capital of Georgia. Georgian National Gallery is an ideal place to start an exploration of Georgian art. Here we can find temporary exhibitions such as “Georgian fine art masterpieces of the early 20th Century” and various permanent exhibitions. For having a cup of coffee we visit Leselidze and Shardeni streets, famous with different art galleries and cosy cafes. Tour leads us to the unique building decorated with colourful stained glass windows, which is located on Betlemi Street. The building’s balconies are decorated with exquisite carvings and ornaments. Then, we continue to the old town to explore some of the most colourful sites of this ancient city - Metekhi Temple, Narikala Fortress with a marvellous panoramic view of the city and Sulfur Baths, dating back to the time of Arab Khalifs. Our next stop is Tbilisi flea market – an open-air fair, where diverse souvenirs from the past Soviet time can be found.

We have a great private art tour to Georgia which was nicely planned by Rima. I couldn’t think that such a tiny country could be full of gorgeous galleries. I liked especially the Contemporary Art Gallery in Tbilisi. The guide was very helpful, open and knowledgeable. We have learnt a lot from him. The hotel Tiflis in Tbilisi was very comfortable and had very helpful staff.

I spend great time with this great company.
Thanks.

Daniel & Brenda

We decided to have an art Tour in one of the countries of Eastern Europe and stumbled upon MyGeotrip.
It was an amazing experience. We learned a lot about the culture, the Art and the Architectural peculiarities of the country.
The Khareba Winery that lies deep in the mountainside. Was quite interesting. Our guide, Vazha, was able to explain in detail how the wine is made in clay pots using the qvervi method, a tradition going back 8000 years! You really must try the grapes in this winery as they are tasty and so huge. We also had a chance to make Georgian bread and sweets. I would also highly recommend the grape oil for sale.
Another great experience was Batumi and Mtskheta. It was a trip with wonderful sights to see.
The driver absolutely friendly and trustable - I really hope to go back to Georgia that is an underrated country, and will for sure contact MyGeotrip again to see more of the country.
